If you win money on a Lottery ticket, you best sign your name on it or hold on to it tightly until you do. It’s better not to go announcing it to the whole either before cashing it. Illegal gambling streams on Twitch will now be closely monitored
A USA-based live streaming platform called Twitch (owned by Amazon) was originally designed for users to channel and provide commentary on video games. But of course, not one online platform in the world goes without a few individuals using it for completely unrelated purposes. Casinos in South Korea temporarily close due to Covid-19 cases
After resuming services post lowdown closures, South Korean casinos are forced to temporarily close due to surging Covid-19 cases linked with their properties. As of last week, South Korea had 1,556 new cases in just 24 hours, and extreme measures are being taken in hopes to knock the numbers back down. Social distancing, mask mandates, and vaccine requirements are expected to be amplified by the end of this August. The Greater Seoul area is at the moment under Level 4 social distancing rules, and an additional ban on private gatherings of three or more people after 6 p.m. is in place. At other times, private gatherings of five or more people are not allowed.

Russia battles illegal transactions between operators and its banks
Russia has a backward and forward history when it comes to gambling laws. Online casinos have been outlawed in Russia since 2017 due to an overwhelming amount of unlicensed operators. Internet service providers blocked gambling-related websites in the country, and the government shared plans of using the latest technologies to ensure that players have zero access to online casinos. As this went on, another major issue surfaced among Russia’s banks - payment pocketing from illegal gambling markets.
