A homeless Air Force veteran wins a vaccine Lottery after a streak of unlucky events

You may have heard the phrase, “you cannot win a lottery if you don’t buy a ticket.” While that is true, the pandemic prompted a Lottery that requires no purchase and receiving a vaccine automatically qualifies individuals to participate in auto-enrolled opportunities to win money, scholarships, and other generous prizes. Almost a dozen states in America are rewarding the vaccinated in exchange for a quick jab, and many of those in need have had their lives changed forever.

Online casinos are taking over the gambling industry

Online gambling is a hot topic, as it became one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. One of the main reasons for the success in the niche is the pandemic that prompted millions of people to find new activities due to simple boredom or desperation during the lockdown. And even those who already gambled at land-based casinos were forced to find an alternative since most facilities closed. The deaths from COVID are certainly the main subject of this painful period, but even those who weren’t touched by the virus got a neat old slap in many other ways. Some lost their jobs, others had to stay outside of hospital doors while their loved ones were dying inside, and many took relief in morally forbidden things like drugs and alcohol abuse. This is an undeniable fact, as alcohol sales went up by 60% in the past year, and drug-related crimes began taking over regions all around the earth.

COVID-19 vaccine lotteries in the USA

If you haven’t heard enough crazy news this week - here’s an extra special one for you. You can now participate in lotteries in some states in America and win up to 1.5 million dollars. But don’t run to buy any tickets just yet; you have to be vaccinated. Yes, as uncanny as it sounds, you can only participate if you’ve got a Pfizer, Moderna, or a Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Plus, you don’t even need both doses - one is plenty to enter the segregated lottery. What’s more bizarre is that minors can win as well, except the winnings will be withheld until they reach 18.
