Twitch poorly combats illegal gambling | New restrictions

The ongoing issue of illegal gambling streams on Twitch has seen little to no attention from the site creators until earlier this August. But despite the alarming need for strict measures, a slight regulation has been introduced in order to prevent streamers from engaging in unlawful betting activities. This week, Des Champs organized a protest that had astounding traction despite the media’s lack of coverage. Las Vegas casino fans join in to push for normalcy.

However, a 22-year-old man named Maison Des Champs took it upon himself to make a statement, quite a shocking one too. After losing his grandfather to suicide during the lockdown, he began to protest against the government’s infringement on freedom. This Tuesday, Des Champs climbed 60-some floors of the Aria Resort and Casino’s exterior to send a message.
