Play’n GO is a leading brand strengthening its presence in different jurisdictions. By the end of 2022, the brand decided to strengthen its position in the USA market by receiving the West Virginia gambling license on December 21st. This allows the Swedish vendor to provide its software to US players within the state.

The company has serious plans to expand in North America. A few months earlier, the brand went live in New Jersey and Michigan, obtaining corresponding licenses and promoting popular titles like Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Sweet Alchemy, and USA Flip to the US market.

When dealing with 2 previous markets, Play'n GO partnered with BetMGM in New Jersey and other large brands. So this new deal is certain to be just as positive. So it’s obvious that the entrance to the West Virginian market will be just as beneficial.

Magnus Olsson, CCO for Play’n GO, commented on this:

West Virginia's regulated iGaming marketplace is thriving and it’s brilliant to be able to finish the year strongly by acquiring a license. I’m sure that players in West Virginia will enjoy the full Play’n GO portfolio that is unmatched in the industry.

He also added that the preferences of players in different jurisdictions may differ. But the company’s task is to keep players entertained since it’s the main goal in all countries. That’s why Play’n GO is certain to succeed in the US market. Plus, West Virginia is a very promising area for gambling since licensed operators in West Virginia collected the total wager amount of $390.5m for the five-week period that ended 3 December.
