A trio burst at the illegal venue in Karimpur

Late this June, the Indian police arrested three men in their thirties for online gambling and cash fraud, with the syndicate allegedly linked to operations in China after residents in the area noticed suspicious activity. The group of criminals is currently being interrogated by the cybercrime wing of Krishnagar district police. The officials have reason to believe that these crimes are linked to online gambling associates operating from China.

Casinos in South Korea temporarily close due to Covid-19 cases

After resuming services post lowdown closures, South Korean casinos are forced to temporarily close due to surging Covid-19 cases linked with their properties. As of last week, South Korea had 1,556 new cases in just 24 hours, and extreme measures are being taken in hopes to knock the numbers back down. Social distancing, mask mandates, and vaccine requirements are expected to be amplified by the end of this August. The Greater Seoul area is at the moment under Level 4 social distancing rules, and an additional ban on private gatherings of three or more people after 6 p.m. is in place. At other times, private gatherings of five or more people are not allowed.

A man who was stupid enough to steal $86K in lottery tickets gets arrested

People often take things that don’t belong to them and don’t get caught. Perhaps you can get away with sneaking a snickers bar out of a grocery store or loot change from someone’s unlocked vehicle without ever getting noticed. And even if a security guard notices you pocket a candy bar without paying, chances are you’ll leave with a slap on your wrist. But good luck trying to steal $86K worth of items from a Pharmacy store - you will get busted, and there will be no mercy for such stupidity.
